CHICAGO (WGN) — Felony charges have been filed against five men after several guns were allegedly found during a traffic stop in River North.

Cook County Sheriff's police did not provide specific details on when the incident unfolded, but said it all began after officers attempted to stop a red Chevrolet Impala in River North for allegedly having illegally tinted windows.

Shortly after the officers activated their emergency lights, the vehicle allegedly sped away before the driver eventually came to a stop in an alley in the 500 block of North LaSalle Boulevard.

After stopping, authorities ordered the driver to turn off the vehicle and roll down the windows, while the passengers were asked to get out. • Photos provided by the Cook County Sheriff's Office shows guns and marijuana alleg
