Lake Nona opened fall practice this season with excitement in the air. The Lions are coming off a season in which they won their first district championship since 2016 , and they’re hungry for another.

It won’t be easy. St. Cloud and Tohopekaliga are hoping to have something to say about that, but the Lake Nona defense is loaded.

Both Nona and St. Cloud will have new quarterbacks this season after last year’s two highly successful graduates: Lake Nona’s Michael Dove, now at the Naval Academy, and St. Cloud’s Logan King, who decided not to play college football.
