The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, best known for 1977’s “On and On” and the Academy Award-nominated “It Might Be You” from the 1982 film “Tootsie,” has announced that the new “THIMK” will be his final album ever. And, he assures us via Zoom from his home, he means it, for all the best reasons.
“My wife (and manager, Liz Kamlet) and I just had a baby last year, and I wanted to spend time with him,” Bishop, 73, explains. “He’s my only baby. I don’t have six kids anywhere, so I want to spend time with him because I didn’t get a lot of time with my father when I was a kid; my parents split when I was five and he was always on the golf course.” The two mended th
