TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Travis County residents are running out of time to apply for financial assistance after the deadly Fourth of July weekend floods.
Monday, Aug. 25 marks the deadline to submit applications to the Travis County Cares Fund, which is managed through the Central Texas Community Foundation.
What you need to apply
Those interested in applying must be Travis County residents who live in areas impacted by the flooding on July 5. You must be able to provide proof of residence, a photo identification, damage estimates and flood insurance information, if possible.
