AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Once again, a child has become the innocent victim of a homicide in the CSRA.

In the latest case, a 3-year-old was killed in a shooting that also injured a woman early Wednesday in the 1100 block of New Savannah Road.

Richmond County deputies responded to the shooting around 1:10 a.m., and both victims were taken to a hospital.

The child, whose name isn’t being released yet, was pronounced dead at 2:20 a.m.

Authorities are looking for two people for questioning.
