Sony is raising the retail price of the PlayStation 5 across the board in the U.S., the company announced Wednesday. Starting Aug. 21, the price of all PS5 consoles will go up by $50, an increase that Sony Interactive Entertainment VP of global marketing Isabelle Tomatis attributes to "a challenging economic environment."
