It is now time to vote for a name for the community rock snake.

The community rock snake is made up of rocks painted by community members, and many potential names have been submitted.

For the vote, the Town of Sylvan Lake has narrowed it down to the top five names, including:

- Sylvia

- Pebbles

- Squiggles

- Laker Lenny

-Willy Wellness

Voting is now open, and community members can vote by going to the website, https://forms.office.com/r/Hq6LsYrH8F.

Voting for the name will close on Aug. 24 at midnight.

"Let's give our colourful snake a name that reflects the spirit of Sylvan Lake," Town staff said.

Individuals interested in adding a painted rock to the snake are welcome to do so at any time.
