WABAUNSEE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - One person is dead and several others are injured after a rollover one-vehicle crash along Interstate 70 in northeast Kansas Wednesday morning.

The Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of I-70 near milemarker 329, which is near the town of McFarland. The Kansas Highway Patrol told KTKA-TV that there were 13 adult passengers, ranging in age between 20 and 30 years old, in the vehicle. One person was ejected and died at the scene, while two others were taken to the hospital via helicopter. Six others were hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators believe a blown tire caused the crash.
