CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (Aug. 19, 2025) – A Chillicothe man is facing serious charges after being arrested Tuesday morning on a secret indictment for felony sex crimes.

According to police, Vollina Adkins was taken into custody at his residence on Gilmore Street following a warrant issued by the Ross County Common Pleas Court. The indictment, filed under case number 25SI000356 , charges Adkins with two counts of Gross Sexual Imposition , a third-degree felony.

Adkins was transported to the Ross County Jail, where he will remain in custody until his initial court appearance.

The case remains under court review.
