BAYFIELD COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - Law enforcement agencies in northern Wisconsin are actively searching for a man with a known history of theft who is wanted on multiple arrest warrants following a pursuit and stolen vehicle incident on Tuesday.

On the afternoon of August 19, deputies with the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office sent out a release regarding the search for Robert Ganz-Brown after an attempted traffic stop around 4 a.m.

Deputies say Ganz-Brown, who is wanted on multiple arrest warrants in Wisconsin, reportedly failed to stop and fled in a minivan. Shortly after, spike strips were successful and disabled the minivan; however, Ganz-Brown escaped on foot.
