HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - For the second year in a row, Richmond Raceway is getting only one NASCAR Cup Series race in 2026.

This is only the second time since 1959 (with the exception of 2020) that the track has not had two Cup Series events in the season.

The Cup Series race will be Saturday evening on Aug. 15. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is back for a Friday night race on Aug. 14.
