The Toledo Walleye have re-signed forward Nolan Moyle, a former captain at the University of Michigan.

Moyle joined the Walleye last January after starting the season overseas.

The center and right winger had been playing in the Kontinental Hockey League, an elite Russian league, when he signed with the Walleye on Jan. 19.

Moyle posted 15 points with six goals and nine assists, along with 20 penalty minutes in 32 regular-season games.

The native of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., then appeared in all 20 of Toledo's playoff games as the Walleye made a run to the Kelly Cup Finals.

The 26-year-old had five assists and eight penalty minutes in the postseason.
