A man was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the death of a 69-year-old Toledo man, police said.

Avon Harris was found with at least one gunshot would Sunday by officers responding to a person shot call in the 2700 block of Elm Street in North Toledo. Mr. Harris was treated at the scene then transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo Police Lt. Daniel Gerken said in a report Wednesday.

A felonious assault warrant was issued for Marlon Henderson, 45, in connection with the shooting.

Mr. Harris died of his injuries Monday, and on Wednesday Mr. Henderson was arrested and a murder charge was added, police said.
