Jake Paul will step back into the ring later in the year for an exhibition fight against world lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.

The social media star has built a professional boxing record of 12-1, with his only defeat coming by split decision to Tommy Fury in 2023.

Despite many of his previous bouts coming against MMA fighters or boxers beyond their prime, Paul has been keen to take a huge step up in quality with his next opponent.

The American was, remarkably, in talks with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua over a potential blockbuster fight, but those plans have reportedly been scuppered due to network-related issues.

However, Paul has now found a new world-level opponent after it was confirmed that he would take on fellow countryman Davis on Friday 14 November.
