A Harrisburg man will spend nearly a decade in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree murder for intentionally crashing his car into a downtown Harrisburg sidewalk, killing a man in a motorized wheelchair.
Police said Ricardo Contreras-Cordero, 57, was driving under the influence and trying to die by suicide Oct. 6, 2024 when he drove onto a downtown sidewalk and crashed his Jeep Liberty into Eusebio Forestier on the 300 block of North Second Street.
