DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The world-famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have made their way into town ahead of the Quad City Air Show, this weekend.
The Thunderbirds arrived at the Quad City International Airport Wednesday around 12:50 p.m., event organizers said. They’ll kick off an action-packed air show weekend with performances scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
“The team’s precision flying and breathtaking aerial maneuvers inspire audiences across the country and highlight the skill and professionalism of America’s Airmen,” event organizers said.
The Quad City Air Show will be on Saturday and Sunday at the Davenport Municipal Airport, 9230 North Harrison Street.
