In October 2023, the world was shocked when Friends star Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in the hot tub at his L.A. home. An autopsy report later revealed that Perry, 54, had died from the “acute effects” of ketamine. On Monday, the New York Times reported that Jasveen Sangha , a woman prosecutors refer to as the “Ketamine Queen,” has agreed to plead guilty to selling Perry the ketamine that killed him. Prosecutors say Sangha could face up to 65 years in prison and has been charged with one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.
