WINDSOR, Mo. (KCTV) - A 34-year-old woman from Missouri who has been accused of causing the death of her 2-year-old child remains behind bars at the recommendation of a grand jury.

The Henry County Prosecuting Attorney announced on Tuesday, Aug. 19, that Trisha Thiele, 34, of Windsor, has been indicted by a grand jury after an investigation into the death of a 2-year-old child.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office noted that the investigation was opened in June 2025. The indictment now charges Thiele with endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, resulting in death - a class A felony.
