CLAYCOMO, Mo. (KCTV) - A disgruntled former employee of a metro area McDonald’s has been accused of calling in a threat to shoot up the location after he was fired for bringing a firearm to work.

Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 15, indicate that Blaze M. Burgin, 19, of Kansas City, has been charged with making a terrorist threat.

A probable cause statement filed by the Claycomo Police Department revealed that around 1:30 p.m. on May 24, law enforcement officials were called to a nearby McDonald’s with reports that a former employee had threatened to shoot staff members.
