Preseason football is well underway in the NFL, and we are just a couple of weeks away from the official start of the professional and college football season. As a former college football player myself, there truly is nothing like the feeling of football season, and I can’t wait for it to get started.

With the start of the season just around the corner, I wanted to give my thoughts on some teams that I believe could outperform expectations this season. Each year there is at least one team that pulls themselves from having one of the worst records in the league to being in contention for the playoffs. Last year, the Commanders went from a 4-13 record in 2023 to making the conference championship game with the help of new head coach Dan Quinn and rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
