DILLSBURG, Pa. —

A dog spotted in York County, Pennsylvania, with a jar stuck on her head has been caught and is now being cared for at a veterinary clinic.

Volunteers searched for the dog, but whenever anyone spotted her, no one could get close. The dog kept running into a cornfield.

"That plastic container is down to, I would say, about a quarter of the way down its neck, and it's been seen trying to get it off, and it can't get it off. So, it's not getting water. It's not getting food. We're worried about it getting proper oxygen," said Beth Miller, a volunteer at Canine Rescue of Central Pennsylvania, before the dog was caught.
