A 36-year-old rock fan collapsed and died at a King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard concert in Colorado on Friday, according to reports.

Mathew Gawiak was watching the Aussie rockers at the Field of Vision Festival in Denver when he complained about feeling dizzy just before 9 p.m., less than an hour into the show, Westword reported .

He went into cardiac arrest during the seventh song of the set and the band stopped their show to allow medical personnel to extract the “diehard Gizzard fan,” according to reports and his family. 3

Gawiak, a geospatial scientist, was at the show with his brother Chris, who shared the heartbreaking moment his brother died.

“As myself and our friends went to escort him out, he dropped to the floor, and was unresponsive,” Chris wrote on the King Gizz
