SAN ANTONIO — The Poteet City Council took action against the city's police department Tuesday, following results from a critical review, according to the city administrator.

During a meeting, the city council voted to recommended the termination of multiple members of the Poteet Police Department, including Chief of Police Bruce Hickman, an unidentified lieutenant, and an investigator.

An audit conducted by Clear Career Professionals recommended significant leadership changes be made to Poteet PD. The review found what it calls performance issues within the department.
