Delegations from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Colombia established a work agenda this Wednesday to advance migration issues related to children and adolescents. The agenda begins in September and ends in December. The agenda will focus on the protection of migrant minors, including family reunification and access to social services.

Both nations agreed to meet virtually every two weeks with the relevant institutions to prioritize cases and guarantee all the mechanisms for the rights of the aforementioned population, adopted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Protection of Children and Adolescents, according to a press release from the MPPRE.
