EAST LANSING — Drivers who use the western section of Haslett Road will have to find alternate routes beginning Monday, Aug. 25, and continuing into November because of a paving project.

For the first phase of the project, the road will be closed to traffic from Saginaw Highway to Hagadorn Road until the end of September, East Lansing officials said in a news release. That section will be reopened and the next phase will begin, with Haslett closed to traffic from Hagadorn to west of Park Lake Road, they said.

The second phase is expected to be finished in November, with additional signal work planned for next spring.
