Europa is a 3-year-old female white and gray Alaskan Husky dog, weighing approximately 46 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center, 1501 West Central Ave.

According to center staff, Europa is slightly selective when it comes to dog friends, and would thrive in a home that appreciates her unique personality. She is still learning how to share toys, but knows basic commands, loves to learn and is a good student, they added.

Adoption fees include her spay, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, and a health and wellness exam.

Members of the public can stop by between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday to meet Bento, or make an appointment to meet any of the available animals by calling the shelter at 833-422-8413 or visiting countyofsb.org/phd/animal
