The Santa Maria Public Library’s bookmobile is changing its regular visit schedule , replacing its visit to Armstrong Park with a stop at Bob Orach Park every Tuesday, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Library operates the SMPL to Go Bookmobile to bring more accessible Library services to neighborhoods across the valley, with 11 regular stops per week. Residents unable to travel to the Library can instead use the visiting Bookmobile to check out and return books and browse media available in English and Spanish.

Since it began in 2020, the SMPL To Go Bookmobile has traveled thousands of miles within Santa Maria, stopping at parks and facilities to provide library services.
