RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Sewer repairs at Forest Hill Avenue are resuming in the City of Richmond in early September.

According to the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), the city discussed plans to continue utility work on Forest Hill Avenue between Hathaway Road and Joe Brooks Boulevard during a virtual public meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The city completed the first two phases in 2024, which included the replacement of about 1,200 LF of sewer along the road from Cherokee Road to Hathaway Road.

In September, the city will begin a sewer replacement project, replacing all the sewer lateral lines running into neighboring businesses.
