Section 2 Class A champion Niskayuna placed four players on the New York State Sportswriters Association all-state girls’ lacrosse team recently.

Midfielder Ava Roemer earned second-team honors for her class following a season with 95 goals, 16 assists and 84 draw controls. Attack Madelyn Cummings made the third team, goalie Emily Ciesinski made the fourth team, and attack Abigail Licht made the fifth team.
