Pauline C. (Nadeau) Miller, 90, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at Kent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Adrien and Irene (Lepage) Nadeau. Pauline was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She worked hard her entire life but was immensely devoted to her family.
In addition to working in many area mills from a young age, she worked several years at Tupperware in North Smithfield, but she would mostly be remembered for her time working at Kay’s Restaurant in Woonsocket for over 28 years from 1972 to 2000. Pauline was the very first Mardi Gras Queen in Woonsocket in 1954, though it was a claim to fame she wasn’t always comfortable with. She much preferred a quiet home life with her family and
