Kirsten Dunst had a parents' nightmare when one of her sons had a health scare while traveling overseas.

The actor was filming in Hungary when things took a turn for the worse when it came to her 4-year-old son, James, she shared in a new interview with Town & Country.

In January, her husband, Jesse Plemons, and their sons relocated to the country while she was working. However, son James' health scare forced her family to return back to Los Angeles without her, where their extended support system could help.

Dunst didn’t go into details about what happened to James, but the magazine called it an extremely frightening time for the family.

The “Civil War” star was able to briefly go home in April, but the worry lingered.
