AUSTIN, Minn. — Hormel Foods is teaming up with the Travis Manion Foundation for the third year in a row to host the 9/11 Heroes Run 5K.

The race will take place at 8:30 a.m. on September 13 at the SPAM Museum on 101 3rd Avenue Northeast.

"We’re honored to host this race once again," Christopher Lea, operations manager at the Austin Plant with Hormel Foods and a military veteran, said. "Last year’s turnout was incredible. Bringing the Austin community together to commemorate September 11th gives us a meaningful way to reflect and remember."

Proceeds from the event will support the Travis Manion Foundation.

Participants can register online at the foundation's website and use the code HORMEL15 for a discount. Those who register by September 1 will receive a T-shirt and gift bag.
