KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A passing shower or storm is possible before midnight, then mostly cloudy. Lows will be around 70 with a north wind at 5 mph.

THURSDAY: Thursday looks mostly dry, but an isolated downpour may pop up along and south of I-40, especially closer to the Smokies in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Winds will be northeast at 5-10 mph.

FRIDAY: Highs will remain in the mid 80s. Look for sun, clouds and maybe a stray shower or storm in the afternoon.

WEEKEND: Clouds will linger with passing showers or storms possible Saturday both days as cold front moves through. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s with lows in the upper 60s to near 70.
