MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - An investigation is underway for an alleged shooting that took place at a middle school on Wednesday evening.

According to MPD, the shooting took place at 5:10 p.m. at Riverview Middle School, located on 241 Majuba Avenue.

No injuries have been reported at this time, but MPD has one woman detained. This is an ongoing investigation.
