President Nicolás Maduro will lead the 13th extraordinary summit of heads of state and government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) this Wednesday.

The activity will take place at the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Center and will connect virtually with members of the regional bloc, where they will update ongoing cooperation plans and review the current situation in the continent.

Maduro emphasized that ALBA emerged in the heat of the dispute between the forces of the people, the forces of independence, the forces of progress and struggle, and the deep projects and obscurantist forces of the US empire.
