An attempted theft of an all-terrain vehicle from a residence east of Shelley around 11 p.m. Tuesday led to many shots fired, an injured homeowner, and the killing of the robbery suspect.

The deceased suspect was later identified as Talon Sessions 35, of Thayne, Wyo.
