9NEWS reported Aug. 15 that an open records request revealed Loveland had been sharing license plate camera data with U.S. Bored Patrol.
The license plate camera readers are owned by Flock Safety, which told 9NEWS that Border Patrol was not a customer on the Flock network and instead had a data-sharing agreement with Loveland.
Loveland police Chief Tim Doran disputed the 9NEWS report, stating that the department did not have an agreement with Border Patrol.
