TWIN FALLS — Three individuals connected to Karl Studer's illegal hunting activities in the South Hills were sentenced Monday to 180 days of suspended jail time with probation, two- or three-year hunting license suspensions and orders to pay fine and restitution for crimes reduced to misdemeanor levels as part of a plea deal.
Brandon Wilcox, 50, Kevin Sielaff, 48, and Landon Sielaff, 24, were indicted on felonies in February for roles related to the killing of big game animals.
Wilcox pleaded guilty in June to illegally transferring a game tag to Studer, while the Sielaffs pleaded guilty to providing guide services without a license. Kevin Sielaff, the owner of Alpine Aviation in Mountain Home, flew Studer in a helicopter to scout for big game herds, with Studer sometimes hunting on the
