A coastal flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 3:53 p.m. valid for Friday between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for Manhattan.

According to the weather service, "If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property."
