Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons is continuing his holdout as he seeks a new contract extension. The impasse has ESPN’s Adam Schefter wondering if this is a sign that Parsons’ days as a member of the Cowboys are winding down.

Appearing on 97.5 The Fanatic’s “Kincade and Salciunas” on Wednesday, Schefter said it appeared Parsons and the Cowboys could go their separate ways and not agree on an extension.

" I don’t know whether it’s after the season or whether the Cowboys will do something this season. I don’t think so, but you never know. It certainly doesn’t feel like those two sides are interested in getting a long-term deal done. At some point in time, I don’t know when, but it seems like they are heading toward a divorce. It’s just what it feels like to me."
