The 42-year-old singer shared the news on social media, revealing that her doctors have advised complete vocal rest to facilitate healing, according to Country Now .

In an Instagram video posted earlier this month , McBryde communicated with fans through handwritten notes, explaining her condition and the necessity for silence. She expressed her reluctance to cancel shows but emphasized the importance of following medical advice to prevent further damage.
