The annual Massillon Tiger community pep rally took place on the evening of Aug. 20 at Duncan Plaza.

Hundreds of fans flocked to downtown to rally the Tiger football squad leading up to the Aug. 22 season opener.

The Tigers host the Glenville Mighty Tarblooders at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium.

MASSILLON – The cloudy and cool evening provided some fall football vibes in downtown.

But the gray presence on Aug. 20 turned brighter as an orange and black tide rolled into Duncan Plaza , as many fans got their first glimpse of the 2025 Tiger football team.

Washington High School players, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, boosters and fans donned the traditional colors to ramp up enthusiasm for the kickoff to the football campaign at the community pep rally.
