Exemptions for U.S. children entering school without required vaccinations are rising as the numbers of children being vaccinated is decreasing, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"We are concerned when we see those numbers drop. I don't know any pediatrician who isn't fearing vaccine hesitancy," Geisinger pediatrician Stacey Cummings said of the worrisome trend she's seen for the past several years.
