LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into Butler High School on Wednesday.

The Shively Police Department said there was just one vehicle involved in the crash.

Police did not say how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The severity of injuries is unknown at this time.

JCPS officials said they believe the driver had a medical emergency, causing them to crash into the school.

The school has minor damage from the crash, police said.
