Delta flight from Orlando to Austin lands safely after passengers notice damage to the aircraft’s wing.

A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) investigation is underway after a flap on a Boeing 737’s wing partially detached during a flight from Orlando to Austin on Tuesday.

Delta Air Lines Flight 1893, with 62 passengers and six crew members on board, was on its final approach to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport when passengers noticed a portion of the left wing’s flap was broken and dangling.

Video showing the damaged flap as the plane flew at high speed thousands of feet in the air circulated on social media.
