DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos' general manager announced on Wednesday that they have traded the team's wide receiver Devaughn Vele to the New Orleans Saints.

In a press release, General Manager of the Broncos George Paton said the trade of Vele resulted in the Broncos acquiring a 2026 fourth-round draft selection and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick.

This announcement comes after the Broncos played their first preseason home game on Sunday, with the season opener already set to be played at Empower Field at Mile High on Sept. 7.

As a rookie in 2024, he appeared in 13 regular-season games and started in seven of them.

In the same year, he finished third overall among Broncos receivers with 41 receptions, 475 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
