The Mesa City Council recently approved a contract for new traffic light controllers and video camera equipment for the transportation department.
The council voted 7-0 Aug. 18 to approve a three-year contract with Paradigm Traffic Systems.
The contract will allow for the city to streamline its maintenance and improve its operational efficiency around Econolite’s central traffic signal system, while also supporting long-term infrastructure planning.
Paradigm Traffic Systems serves as an exclusive representative for Econolite products within Arizona, according to council documents.
