The San Francisco 49ers have traded for wide receiver Skyy Moore from the Kansas City Chiefs, sending a 2027 sixth-round pick and receiving a 2027 seventh-round pick in return as well.
Moore, 24, was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, but has struggled to find playing time while with the Chiefs. He found himself on the outskirts of a crowded wide receiver room this offseason and is now joining the 49ers, who are in dire need of receiver help.
The 49ers have struggled with injuries at the position for much of the offseason, which has especially popped up in training camp. Currently, San Francisco is down Brandon Aiyuk (ACL, MCL), Jauan Jennings (calf), Jacob Cowing (hamstring), and Jordan Watkins (high-ankle sprain).
