SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A woman will avoid prison time after pleading guilty to helping a Simpsonville man hide his wife’s murder in 2016.

Arrest warrants show Hannah Elizabeth Thompson knew of Catherine “Cati” Blauvelt’s murder and concealed the fact that she drove John Blauvelt, Cati’s husband and convicted killer, to Woodruff Road and dropped him off near Cati’s work on the day of the murder.

Thompson also concealed the fact that she followed John while he drove Cati’s car the day of the murder until he parked the car in a parking lot on White Horse Road, according to the arrest warrants.

Arrest warrants also said Thompson concealed John’s location and told officials he “disappeared one morning.”
