ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Lobo basketball team has announced the latest addition to the 2025-2026 schedule and beyond. UNM and Santa Clara have agreed to a home-and-home series to take place over the next two seasons.

This year, the game will take place in Albuquerque. The Broncos will come to the Pit on Saturday, December 6. It will be Santa Clara's first visit to the Pit since 2004-2005.

The Lobos will travel to Santa Clara in 2026 at a date to be determined. It will be New Mexico's first visit to Santa Clara.

All-time, the Lobos and Broncos have faced off in eight contests. UNM leads the series 5-3, with the most recent meeting coming last year at the Jack Jones Classic in Henderson, NV.
